Okay, friends, I did it! I finally took the plunge and gave into my little girl’s dreams of a bunk bed. She has been asking for a while now. I gave it a lot of thought and decided to go for it!
This little stairwell is really coming along. Replacing the carpet and doing shiplap got this moving in the right direction. I really wanted to replace the builder grade handrail with a modern black steel rail.
The stairwell is really just like the story “If You Give A Mouse A Cookie.” Once I started one project it led to another and here we are. I found the perfect solution to brighten up these walls and add dimension.
I feel like if this entire post was just pictures, this bag would speak for itself. Just in case, I will tell you all the amazing features. I am all about having my Lily Jade on my arm (or back) for all the occasions.
I have been thinking about a cute bunk bedroom for a while now. My daughter has been begging to share a room with her little sister. I have just been waiting until they were old enough.
I frequently get asked what my most loved project is to date. Or what my favorite transformation has been. Mr. Whitelane and I have done our fair share of DIY and home improvements over the years.
I have been eagerly waiting to update our bedroom since we moved into this house. We have had the same dresser for seven years. I updated the knobs a few years ago. It was just time to pass the dresser on to my daughter.
I found this awesome vase at World Market on clearance for $10. It is normally only a few dollars more than that. There was just a small scratch on one side that didn’t bother me. I took it home but the clear glass just didn’t work anywhere I put it.
I have to say I am pretty excited about my new little office space. As I am sitting here right now, it makes me pretty happy to get work done. The greatest part is that it only cost me $19 because I used a bunch of stuff I already had.
I have been looking forward to this day since we bought this house. Being able to have a keyless entry is a huge bonus for our family. We love not having to worry about keys for our kids or ourselves. The nice part about this DIY upgrade is how fast you can enhance your security and aesthetic.
