Last weekend was such a fun experience. I am so grateful I got to be a part of it all. When I was first asked to do the design panel for the Deseret News Home Show, it was a no-brainer. I mean Clint Harp was the keynote speaker. I was not about to miss that.

Ever since I got that fun KILZ paint package from Chip and Joanna, I have been a little obsessed with all things Fixer Upper. Let’s be real, I was obsessedĀ way before that too. šŸ˜‰Ā  I still can’t believe the show is really over! I mean… what do we watch now? Anyway, I loved reading the Magnolia story and having them autograph my book was the icing on the cake. Clint just came out with his book, Hand Crafted, and you would think I got him to autograph it at the show. NO! My crazy mom brain was so busy with the panel I didn’t even get him to sign his new book for me. WHY!??? At least I have a bunch of fun pictures to rememberĀ all the fun.

Can we talk about how awesome and down to earth Clint was? We made a few fun videos that I only messed up 100 times. Clint was so nice about it all. I was a bit nervous and he just rolled with the punches. Such a fun time, an amazingĀ group of people and vendors.

Aside from hearing Clint’s great story about how he got to work with Chip and Jo, the panel was also a huge success! I got to be with Kristen Rocke of K Rocke Designs, Mike and Brandon of The Junk Hunks, and Brooke Hackett (one of my favĀ TV hosts) was our moderator. I can not say enough wonderful things about this group of people. Truly genuine and authentic. We had the best time talking about what’s coming in 2019 for design trends. It really was a great time and has me excited for the new year ahead.

I have some really fun changes coming around our home that I can not wait to share with you. Be sure to come back soon and see more updates.
