Halloween At White Lane
Halloween At White Lane
I got all my fall decorations out just in time to put out Halloween. Truth: this is the first year I really decorated for Halloween. I usually just do a fall, Thanksgiving, and Halloween combo. Meaning, mostly just fall and Thanksgiving. My little ones are getting older and really love to get into each holiday. I knew I had to decorate for the individual holidays this year. No matter how close they are and how much work it is.
This post should just be titled, “Halloween by Target Dollar Spot.” Haha. Seriously, almost everything came from there. At only a few dollars an item, you really can’t beat that. Target Dollar Spot was on top of their Halloween game this year. The trick is getting there right when they put it out. It can get picked over very quickly. Always buy more than what you think you will need. Keep your receipt and return what you don’t use.
I wanted to keep the porch simple with a bunch of white pumpkins. The only problem is that the mini white pumpkins are hard to find. I have been to at least five stores and called a dozen more. I think as we get close to Thanksgiving they will show up. If you see them, help a girl out! 🙂 For now, the medium and big white pumpkins are trickled down my steps. Hopefully, some mini ones will join soon. (Update: found the mini pumpkins at Trader Joe’s) I got this cute Halloween wreath from Michaels Arts and Crafts. They also had a ton of cute Halloween decor. If you sign up for their loyalty program, you get notifications of sales and bonus coupons. I got this wreath 75% off.
My Whimzical Woods sign still looks good with my Halloween decor. If you haven’t entered the giveaway one post back, GO! You still have a few days for a chance to win this “Home is My Happy Place” sign. The black leafy stems in the vase are also from Michaels. All my cute witches around the house came from Home Goods. Everything else Halloween on the table is from Target Dollar Spot.
My chalkboard writing skills, as you have seen in the past, are horrible. This banner got the bare minimum, BOO! The cute banner on the mantel and all the pumpkins are Target. The “scary”, “beware”, and marble ghost came from Home Goods. The mudroom got a little Halloween too. The chalkboard is Target and the skull is Wal-Mart.
That about wraps up Halloween at White Lane Decor. I wanted to keep it fun, simple, and festive. The classic black and white works perfectly in our home. I am ready plunder my kids Halloween candy already! 🙂
