Office Reveal With Canon

The following post contains affiliate links and is sponsored by Canon. Read my full disclosure here.

I have to say I am pretty excited about my new little office space. As I am sitting here right now, it makes me pretty happy to get work done. The greatest part is that it only cost me $19 because I used a bunch of stuff I already had. That would not have been possible without my friends at Canon sending me a major new upgrade, the Pixma TS9521C wireless all-in-one printer.

Now, I like to keep it real and tell you how I really feel about a product. This is no exception. Don’t worry, it functions just as well as it looks. 🙂 First of all, the gorgeous printer is WHITE! Let’s just stop and take a moment to appreciate how nice it is to not have a giant black machine sitting on my desk. This small desk and office area feels so much lighter and open with my previous printer gone. This white Pixma is so much more stylish and pretty. YES, I just called a printer pretty. I fully believe in creating spaces that are beautiful down to the little details. This printer did not disappoint. It does actually have a bunch of features other than just aesthetically pleasing me. 🙂 First, take a look at the before of this space……

I love the compact design that is also all-in-one. This printer is a crafters’ go-to with borderless printing, versatile paper support, and built-in printable patterns. It can even do tabloid size media. The printer also supports WiFi, AirPrint, and Mopria Print Service. So, guess what I can do? Hands-free smart printing through voice-activated printing via Amazon’s Alexa and Google’s Assistant. There is a built-in SD Memory Card slot that makes photo transfers effortless. I had to have a printer with an Auto Document Feeder for scanning. This may sound silly but it is a necessity when scanning multiple pages. I can set a whole stack of pages to auto feed through and scan in minutes. No more one by one scanning. The easy to use LCD touch screen makes it easy to see exactly what I need. It also comes with all the ink cartridges. One more super cool feature is Canon’s Message In Print app. This super fun app allows you to embed hidden messages such as text, animations, music, video links, and other enhancements directly within the image. To the view the embedded message you just use your mobile device’s camera. It really is the printer my little office dreams are made of. 🙂

I could go on and on about the endless features of this printer but I know you want the details on the rest of the office. This black floral wallpaper is actually shelf liner from the dollar store. I know, crazy! I found the same shelf liner online but it is pricier for a little longer roll. It took about 5 rolls and an hour of time to get this fun accent wall finished. The paper is self-adhesive and stuck right to the wall. At only $1 each roll, I figured it was worth a try. I kind of want to do more accents walls with this stuff now.

The white dipped vase was a fun DIY I did a while back. The vase is actually a Serena and Lily knock off I saw and had to try. I have a full blog post coming with the tutorial soon. The cute hourglass was something I already had. I wanted to keep this small desk clean and simple. I found the hello beautiful free printable and framed it with a cute gold frame to accent my sconces. The desk and chair I have had for years too. Adding a few new touches with what you already have can really freshen up an entire space.

This awkward little pop out in our hallway has quickly become my favorite little office. A little DIY and creativity can go a long way with awkward spaces. I love working at my desk even more now. I have to give a huge thanks to Canon for lightening up the entire workspace with this beautiful Pixma TS9521C. Now that this office is complete it is on to the next project.
